UWI Graduate Tracer Survey 2016

For the 2016/17 period, survey findings showed that graduate employment was 66%, declining from 75% when compared to the earlier survey of 2015/16. An estimated 5% of the respondents reported being self-employed. At least 54% of the graduates surveyed reported being employed in the public sector. The main areas of employment activity were in the fields of Financial and Insurance activities, Education or Healthcare and Social Services. An estimated fifty percent (50%) of respondents earned a monthly salary lof ess than $7000, with the average time to find employment being approximately five months.
