UWI Annual Report 2011/2012

The 2011/2012 academic year was another year of sterling performance for the St Augustine Campus. In this transitional year, the Campus’ many accomplishments further contributed to delivering on the goals in the 2007-2012 strategic plan. One of the significant achievements during the year was the impressive growth in graduate enrolment, which outpaced enrolment at the undergraduate level for the first time. The St Augustine Campus can now boast a graduate enrolment of 30% of the student population, with some 20% of graduate students pursuing research degrees. The past academic year also saw an impressive expansion in graduate and undergraduate programmes. Moreover, several new programmes were devised in conjunction with industry partners.
